Laura is an educator, mindfulness practitioner, and advocate for people with albinism and low vision. She is the founder of Adventures in Albinism and creator of The Teacher’s Compass, two mindfulness-based projects supporting individuals with albinism as well as the parents and teachers who guide them. As a speaker and advocate, Laura is passionate about helping others recognize their strengths and flourish.

Drawing on over twenty-five years of teaching experience, a decade of personal mindfulness practice, and her own lived experience with albinism and low vision, Laura helps others move from overwhelm and uncertainty to clarity, confidence, and calm. Her work blends education, mindfulness, and positive psychology to nurture well-being, connection and belonging.
